You can entering events to you calendar through the event editor,
the quick-add form, the vCalendar form or through the command
line.
WebCalendar distinguish 4 kinds of events:
appointment, todo,
meeting and
special. The distinction is largely based on
the information required for each kind of events. For example,
a todo event contains a due time while an appointment doesn't;
a meeting event has a start and end time while a special event,
like birthday, doesn't. Different kind of events are decorated using different
colors.
There is an event editor for each kind of event. To invoke an event editor,
click on the corresponding named links on the navigation bar. The quick add
popup form is available by clicking on the
icon.
The vCalendar form is available by clicking on the vCal link on the
navigation bar.

All event editors has a very similar interface. We'll describe the
appointment editor in detail, and explain the distinct fields on
other event editors.
To edit an event, click on the event title, it will send you to
the correct event editor with current event data filled in properly.
